I just began playing Fortnite on my custom PC. My frame rate drops from 60 to around 30 every few seconds, especially when I move the camera quickly. This shouldn’t occur on my system. What bothers me most is that it stays steady at 120 fps in save the world with MAX settings. I’m unsure if I missed something or have incorrect configurations. Here are my current settings: Window Mode: Fullscreen Resolution: 1920 x 1080 16:9 Vsync: OFF Fame Rate Limit: 60 FPS Rendering Mode: DIRECTX 12 Brightness: 98% User Interface Contrast: 1.02x Color Blind Mode: Off Motion Blur: OFF User Interface Parallax: ON Quality Presets: Medium Anti-Aliasing & Super Resolution: TSR Medium Temporal Super Resolution: Custom 3D Resolution: 100% Dynamic 3D Resolution: OFF Nanite Virtualised Geometry: ON Global Illumination: Ambient Occlusion Reflections: Screen Space Hardware Ray Tracing: OFF You can view my system details on my profile. All drivers are current, except RAM speed which is set to 3600MHz and power saving mode at performance.

It seems to occur only when you move your mouse. This might indicate the polling rate on your mouse is too high. Lower it until it doesn’t impact your performance.

I faced a comparable problem too, and turning off Nanite helped fix it.
