Not sure if this is best place to put this. I am having trouble viewing messages on facebook on a windows machine. I have 2 profiles, 1 is my main and the 2nd is for a page I help manage. Both are on same account.
Currently, when I try to go to view the messages on the 2nd profile, it will not fully open the page. It will open a new browser window. Can only see the stuff on top of the page. The actual messages will not load. This happens on both chrome and firefox. Now if I am able to get the messages to load and I try to reply to someone, the message will have a red exclamation mark saying hasn't been sent. The strange thing about this part is if I am sending the first message, it will go through fine but once they reply and I try to reply back, get the red exclamation mark.
I have tried the fb app on windows and same thing happens. Same thing happens on 2 different computers. I don't have any trouble when using a smartphone.
Tried using the messenger app on windows and am not able to log in. Says unable to complete request.
Was able to get logged in on messenger on a different computer. But it only shows chats for my main profile. Don't see any way to switch to 2nd profile.

verify your firewall configurations, ensure your ethernet/wifi is configured as private. test by launching chrome or firefox in safe mode and attempt again. consider trying edge or internet explorer.

I disabled the firewall. I also turned off Malwarebytes Premium, web protection, and exploit protection. No change was observed. Connections remain private. I tested Edge and Chrome in safe mode without differences. Still, messages fail to load on the second profile.

@Weathered
How are you managing all this?
On Facebook:
"Sign in to other profiles
You'll reuse your current login details across all your accounts. Once logged in, you'll start at your primary profile and can then move to the desired one.
Discover the distinctions between your Facebook account and individual profiles.
Note:
Only those profiles linked via your main Facebook account are recognized as additional profiles. A new Facebook account remains independent."

Both profiles belong to the same account. To change profiles, I click the profile picture in the top right, and there is another profile picture next to the main one, not below it. I haven’t experienced any problems lately, and I don’t believe anything has changed, at least not from my side.

It might be useful to reach out to Facebook for assistance.
They could have noticed an issue or provide a solution.
Alternatively, they might resolve it discreetly, restoring everything as usual.

I've already shared the report a few days ago, with a screenshot attached, but haven't received any response. I'm not sure if this is necessary. Could there be a way to contact them directly or have a live chat? At this stage, it doesn't seem like the problem is on my side. However, I might try logging into Facebook at a family member's house just to check if the issue is related to my internet connection.

It might be related to the cache. Did you encounter a similar issue before? Have you considered using incognito mode?
