Hello. I built my pc 2 days ago and still have not been able to use the internet on it due to the ethernet connection completely being unrecognized by my pc. I know that it's not my router or the ethernet cable and not my pc. I've watched a few tutorials on it and none seemed to have helped, but then i went into device manager and saw that the ethernet driver as well as many other devices were out of date so i tried to update however obviously it wouldn't work due to no internet. My network connections folder is completely empty there's no ethernet option. For the record i do not have a wifi card but if this continues i plan on buying one. Could someone tell me on what to do about the drivers that are out of date?

Install the chipset and LAN driver for your motherboard from the manufacturer's website. You'll need another computer to download the files to a USB drive. Then attach the USB to your new PC and run the installation.

Thanks for your message. I'm having trouble locating the correct drivers for my ASRock B660M Pro RS motherboard. Could you provide any additional details or steps you've taken so far?

I located the drivers and set them up. The Ethernet is now functioning properly. Thank you very much!
