Now this situation becomes even more confusing,
My drive isn't generating a dump file
I've adjusted the page file and virtual memory settings
Both Nvidia drivers and Samsung drives seem to clash with this board
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
I've contacted Samsung several times but they haven't provided any help
The Nvidia driver is crashing severely, making it impossible to log the issue
I'm also unable to locate my dump files at all
I've looked through my PC for the address mentioned by Windows and Microsoft too
I'm not new to computers, but I'm encountering multiple errors that I haven't experienced before and am feeling lost
I reverted to drivers in mid-2024 yet still face these severe crashes on a 4070

I reviewed the boot logs, and they consistently fail to load over the years.

What games are you running? Crashes differ between titles and systems.
2. What kind of issues are you encountering? Bluescreen or crashes to the desktop with or without messages?
3. I assume this setup: [Ram:32gb ddr5 gksill flare x5] is two 16gb sticks?

Hello,
In every game I play, my 3 drives all crash when I use them.
There are hard crashes, full crashes, the computer goes black and then shuts down.
Occasionally it restarts BSOD.
After a full reset of Windows using the media creation tool, the first game I tried loaded crashed right away.
I’m not sure if these issues started before the 990 Pro version.
The only crashes happen while gaming. It might be related to the 4070. Right now I’m using an older GPU driver, version 560.94, and even the latest ones aren’t fixed.
My RAM is double the size.

I'm really confused about this. After a fresh Windows install from USB, my PC keeps crashing while apps run, files transfer, and downloads happen, but it's idling at 68°C. Just during the last installation it didn't reach 60°C even when gaming. I don't know what to do and I'm thinking about using my backup SN850 and blaming Samsung drives forever.

I am currently running driver version 561.09 since using any driver above that causes the game to crash in Apex Legends. I tested all other drivers higher than this version and found no issues. This problem is common with setups like yours (AMD CPU + NVIDIA GPU), as shown here: https://shorturl.at/UUbqK (the link was shortened due to the site's spam filter).

On my previous PC, I played on 560.94 and it worked well, so the driver issue doesn’t seem likely.

I also own a Samsung 990 EVO 2TB (non Pro, but Plus) and it functions perfectly. Did you update the default Microsoft drivers with the Samsung ones? That would be risky since Samsung drivers are often unstable.

My CPU idles at around 68°C when not gaming, whereas mine is about 37°C on a 7800x3d. If your cooler fans are directing air correctly, I’d check the thermal paste distribution on the CPU. Remove the cooler to verify the paste layer. Clean any old paste with Isopropyl alcohol and reapply it. In worst cases, poor paste coverage could lead to inadequate heat transfer.

What thermal paste did you use and when was your last application?

Final update,
and you can mark this as solved.
I replaced my WD_BLACK 1TB SN850 NVMe SSD.
occt, cinenbench functioned, and I tested the latest nvidia drivers without any issues.
I’m puzzled why both the samsung980 pro 2tb and 990 pro 2tb were problematic on my Asus Strix b650e-f mobo.
I’m just relieved I had my sn850 with a Windows installation as a backup.
If anyone faces difficulties with Samsung drives on Asus boards, simply get a new drive.
Thank you to everyone who shared their experience and support. This was completely unexpected and seems to be a Samsung issue on Asus boards.
Appreciate your insights and suggestions. These are good options to try. However, in my situation it was the drive itself that caused the problem.
