It’s straightforward as the name suggests. I own an MSI Armor RX 480 with 4GB RAM (no original fans, only two added ones). The heat isn’t the problem—it still crashes even at around 60°C. The driver keeps timing out, especially after a short gaming session. I’m using the newest Windows 10 drivers, and the card fits in my 4K Mac Pro with a 6-pin to 8-pin conversion. It functions okay for browsing but now freezes right after about a minute of gaming. With a power limit set to -50% and max clock at -30%, I’m unsure what’s happening. I’m planning to move it into my laptop’s eGPU dock to see if it works properly or if it’s really struggling with this machine.

It could be an issue with the video card or your Mac Pro's memory, causing problems only after being hit.

I checked it in my eGPU dock too, and it had the same issues. That's why I decided to give up.
