Issues with displays and graphics cards
Hey, previously I faced some issues with my M27Q. I owned two of them, and the second one was the one that was struggling. I used WhatsApp Video on 2023-09-05 at 9:04 AM (1.mp4). Luckily, I applied the warranty and replaced it with another monitor—a Samsung G70B. Now my main monitor is the other M27Q, which worked perfectly. Recently, I’ve started using the G70B as the primary display while keeping the M27Q as a secondary one. However, the M27Q began showing the same flickering problems again. It happened on 2023-09-16 at 7:17 PM (Now, that’s odd because this was my main monitor and it hadn’t had any issues in the past two years). I’m beginning to suspect the GPU might be the culprit. I checked the HDMI port and the third DP port on the GPU, but nothing worked. Only the first and second ports functioned properly, and problems appear when both monitors are connected. The cables are fine (tested on a laptop), and the M27Q displays correctly from my work laptop. I’m not very technical, so I’m wondering if the GPU or the power supply is the real issue. If anyone has any insights, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks! Here’s my setup: - GPU: 3070 Ventus 2x - CPU: i5-10400F - PSU: EVGA 650W Gold - RAM: 4x8gb DDR4 Kingston - Motherboard: ASUS Z490-Plus - Cooler: Noctua NH-U12S
