Issues with device drivers on AMD B450 motherboard
Hey everyone! I accidentally spilled coffee on my Intel motherboard and it crashed. Even though the board was turned off when it happened, it still shut down completely. I bought an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max II and a Ryzen 7 3700X for a good price and got them set up. After installing the drivers, I still see entries like "PCI standard host CPU bridge" and "PCI-to-PCI Bridge" in my device manager. When I try to install the drivers manually, it says the best ones are already there. Got any ideas on fixing this? Thanks! zog
Hi @TetraSky, thank you for your response. On my Intel systems, after setup I notice "PCI Express Root Port" appears post-installation. After applying the system drivers, it updates to "Mobile 5th Generation PCI Express Port." This makes me think I might be missing some drivers.
Sure, just remember to install the chipset driver for the B450. After that, you're all set.
