I’m experiencing difficulties with DayZ Standalone on Windows 10. During the initial setup, the game failed to start due to a conflict with the BattlEye Client. I looked for solutions online and found a forum post where one of the developers mentioned manually removing the BattlEye file from the system and replacing it. I followed those instructions carefully, and after doing so, the game launched correctly without any issues. Now I’m stuck with another issue: once the game is open, the visuals are distorted, and the screen flickers heavily while navigating settings. I tried joining a server to download missing textures, but it keeps crashing instead. I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the game, moved files from the c:\ folder, and deleted various files, yet the problem persists. This is frustrating. I’m not sure if anyone else has faced the same problem on Windows 7, though I remember having no issues back then. Please help me figure this out—I really enjoy the game and would appreciate any advice or solutions.

Just keep in mind that Dayz isn't a great project, so don't rely on it.

Thank you for the photo. It seems like the game's status isn't clear to me. Yes, I get that it has some issues, and I've been playing since its December 2013 release, but I wasn't prepared for problems with Windows 10. Still, thanks!

I would reach out to the DayZ support team. They might not get back to you, but a response could resolve the problem.

Yeah, I have; unfortunately they've been too busy butt fingering each other to respond haha. But seriously thank you for your time to read my post, I appreciate it. Thanks again.

DayZ functions well on Windows 10. Check the game cache and clear your CFG file.
