I checked my connection using tracert to google.com. The first hop was my router, followed by ISP connections with varying response times. Numbers 4 and 5 timed out, while 6 through 10 showed Google’s servers with latency between 13 ms and 39 ms. I have fiber internet and a 1 gigabit Wi-Fi card running a decent 3x3 router. You pay for a gigabit and receive 500... It’s time to discuss this with your ISP, as they must address the issue since you’re only getting half of what you paid.
