I discovered the answer... Start the Group Policy Editor 1. Open gpedit.msc. Go to Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Network -> LAN Workstation. Double click "Allow guest computers to connect to the network". Choose "Enabled" and click OK. Close all windows. Now attempt to mount the network drive again. Shared folders should now be accessible. Reminder: Group Policy Editor is compatible only with Windows 10 Pro.
