Address any issue affecting BPDUs on the cable by turning off STP or related functions on the receiving end, or enable the BPDU Guard feature on the port. This setting prevents other devices from connecting to the switch, acting as a security measure to block unauthorized or malicious connections. Some organizations enforce rules against placing switches or routers in workspaces.
