Hello, I recently purchased some components for my new PC, mixing old and new parts. I’m facing several issues. For reference, I had to travel with my old CPU, and the way I packed it was unusual. The main problem is that when I try to boot, the AIO fans don’t spin, the RGB lights flicker and then the system crashes. RAM shows the RGB display, but the biggest concern is the PSU not spinning. I checked everything outside the case for a grounding issue, but the problem persists. I used ChatGPT to help diagnose, but it’s proving difficult. I’ve found more success on the Linux forum. Could you advise me on possible solutions? Thank you.
The PSU fan may only spin when it needs too.. So don't worry too much about that. When you turn on the system what does it do? Does it work and boot into Windows and you just have FAN\RGB Issues? or does the screen stay blank? If the screen stays blank, this motherboard doesn't seem to have LED boot codes, only beep codes.. If you happen to have a speaker you can connect, it might tell you what the problem is... Otherwise things to try Check all power connections to the motherboard, the 8pin as well as the big 24pin, make sure they are in fully. Check the GPU power connections Make sure AIO FAN connection is in CPU_FAN and AIO Pump is in CPU_OPT You don't list your RAM above?, remove all but one stick that is in B2, trying swapping with another single stick if that doesn't work. Remove CPU and reinstall.. Remove GPU and reinstall Try another GPU if you have one to test.. can be an old one... If nothing else works, maybe provide images? I assuming your CX650 is not modular so you can't use the wrong cables...

My main concern is whether RAM could power up if the CPU is inactive. Also, the motherboard seems new—there aren’t many online videos about it, and high-quality boards usually lack clear color codes. I don’t understand Gigabyte motherboards’ behavior at first. Can you confirm if the AIO pump is linked to a pump header? If not, you might need to adjust the control mode in BIOS. Check whether the AIO RGB header connects to a standard RGB or an aRGB header—they work on different voltages and shouldn’t be mixed. It’s safe to connect your GPU and view the BIOS interface. You can safely remove the AIO if you suspect incorrect headers, allowing the CPU to cool without immediate shutdown, giving you time to inspect settings before powering off. Once you’re confident the system boots into BIOS, you can install the pump and test the fans and headers. Good luck!
Fans might not spin if they're not working. Certain gadgets activate a quiet mode and only rotate when temperatures hit a specific point. This situation is more concerning. The machine should start up in BIOS. Verify that all connections are correctly placed and attempt again. Also, do you have access to another device? It's wise to test each part individually on another system to confirm functionality, especially if you're unsure.
I don’t have access to another machine, but I’ve assembled a system more than once, so this is my first encounter with such an issue. I genuinely think the CPU might be faulty from the trip, or the board could have shorted, or the GPU isn’t performing as expected. Please share your ideas.
