Hello everyone, I just set up Windows 11 today and everything looked good at first. However, I’m now encountering frequent distorted blue screens. Since I added an m.2 SSD (WD Blue SN5000 2TB), it’s a new hardware component. I assumed the issue was due to overheating, but temperatures seem normal. Here’s what happened: After installing Windows 11 via USB, everything worked smoothly. While downloading programs and logging in, Firefox froze, then restarted after about 30 seconds. Checking Event Viewer revealed an error indicating Secure Boot wasn’t enabled. System Information also confirmed Secure Boot was off, and the BIOS was set to UEFI mode. Earlier I believed Windows 10 was installed, but a PC Health Check showed Secure Boot was active, allowing the upgrade. I changed the BIOS settings to switch to UEFI and enable Secure Boot. It took several restarts, and occasionally I saw the same blue screen briefly before recovering. Sometimes it appeared at the login screen or after a short delay once I logged in. Out of curiosity, I performed another restart to see if it would behave normally, but it kept showing the same issue. Eventually, I powered off the system when I reached the lock screen and turned it back on about ten minutes later. I was able to log in without problems. I’m still puzzled by this situation and would really appreciate any guidance. Here are my details: Ryzen 5 3600 MSI B350M Bazooka, 16GB DDR4 (RX 6700), 10GB, 2TB NVMe (new drive), 2TB HDD, 4TB EVGA 650W G2.
