Hi everyone, I'm facing a couple of issues with backing up my wife's iPhone to her Windows 11 PC. First, she uses an iPhone 11 and her Windows 11 machine to handle backups. After switching to Windows 11, iTunes stopped backing up her phone, so I had to use a tool called "Apple Devices." It backs up to her boot drive, but I want the backups stored on her second hard drive instead of the boot drive. Unfortunately, the boot drive is too small for anything other than the operating system and apps. Second, I found a discussion thread on Apple forums about relocating backups using symlinks. I tried creating a symlink to the second hard drive, but it still shows backups on the boot drive. I'm unsure if I should remove the symlink or try another method. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

No, you should not remove the existing backup unless you are certain about the link.

The backup was completed once the link was established, leaving two additional backups to be generated.
