Issues with Asus ExpertBook updates and registrations
There’s been an issue updating Windows on my Asus ExpertBook. It’s running Windows 11 with an Intel QLC 660p M.2 NVME 500GB SSD and a 480GB 2.5" SSD. The system won’t let me proceed with the update anymore. To add to the frustration, it has disabled drivers for Bluetooth, USB, graphics (Intel & Nvidia), audio, and Ethernet. It also prevents mounting an ISO image. After replacing the SSD, all ports function correctly, indicating no hardware problem. I’ve updated the BIOS during the process. I’ve tried running Windows repair, scanning for malware, performing a DISM scan, and adjusting registry limits, but nothing worked. Not wanting to buy a SSD enclosure (as it’s not available in NZ), I’m considering this expense unnecessary.
