I'm curious about the source of those components—modern systems can run smoothly with around 300 to 350 units depending on the specs.

Fx gear tends to be pricier since it's less common, making it costlier than top-tier intel options for similar budgets. Building a premium fx setup costs nearly the same as a basic Ryzen build, but the Ryzen version significantly outperforms the fx performance.

The 10400 equipped with a descent board and 16GB 3000 RAM offers a significant boost, delivering around 350 performance improvements at a relatively affordable price.

I sold my 9590 for £100... I’m struggling to find a Ryzen bundle for £180 without RAM. Now I’m considering selling my old RAM and Mobo to make a big upgrade! Let’s check how my DDR3 2133 fits in. It could be the key decision.

The current FX platform is mainly suited for office tasks, but you can still find ways to improve it. If you're looking for advice or a budget-friendly build, just let me know—I’ll help you figure it out. It’s unlikely you’ll need the Ryzen combo unless you want better performance; the Athlon 3000 already offers solid results at a low cost.
