I recently installed the 7900x and a 6000 mega transfers RAM kit. The system becomes very unstable when I turn on DOCP for the 6000 mega transfers, leading to BSODs that leave it in an unrecoverable state until I replace the RAM. Right now, I’m keeping it at the auto setting (4800 mega transfers). How much speed loss am I experiencing? Should I manually adjust settings outside of DOCP? Is there a reason behind the instability? I’ve heard the official spec says only 5200 MHz support, possibly due to a faulty memory controller causing overclock issues. I’m trying to avoid sacrificing performance too much because of RAM speed. Parts from the build are attached as an image.

Ryzen is known for ram incompatibilities especially on new boards, have you checked to see if there is a newer bios version for your motherboard yet? Typically within the first few days to weeks these boards get bios updates that improve memory stability and compatibility. I'd check and see if there is a newer version then update it. If you already have or it's already on the newest you may need to wait until an update drops or get a different ram kit.
