Issues when boosting performance beyond 9700k
Hello, I'm new to this whole overclocking thing. I own an Intel i7 9700k with a MSI Z390 pro board. While trying to boost it in the MSI BIOS, I stuck to their advice from a video they made about 9th gen CPUs. I followed these steps: CPU ratio at 50, ring ratio at 47, voltage set to 1.37, and overrode core voltage. I also turned off Intel C-State. But even after doing all that, my CPU still runs at 4.7 GHz during tests, while it's 5.0 GHz when not in use. Why is that happening? I'm using Cinebench and AIDA 64 for monitoring, and tools like HWMonitor and Task Manager. Any tips or explanations would be super helpful! Thanks a lot!
