I thought my motherboard had a problem and changed it to another one with an MSI from Asus. But I’m wondering if the CPU might be faulty. In this case, I have an NVMe 4x Gen 3 SSD of 1TB installed along with a 1TB WD SATA SSD. The SSD speed is dropping from 540/523W to 360/406W now. Is it possible that using a NVMe drive on the board affects SATA performance? Also, the MSI X570-A Pro board works fine with my current setup—especially with the 3.0 HD enclosure and USB ports. On the board itself, it functions under the NIC and the USB 3.2 Gen 2 port. The next port with the USB C shows Windows recognizing the drive but not loading a file system. When connected to the two 3.2 Gen 1 ports above the HDMI, Windows plays a USB sound and then displays a Malfunction USB device message. The USB 2.0 works, but it’s very slow. Could this be related to the CPU or is there another issue with the SATA speeds? I’ve attached a picture of the board for reference.
