Forza Horizon 5 isn't launching from the Xbox app, so I sought assistance on Reddit. A user suggested updating Gaming Services via the Microsoft Store, pointing to a cloud icon with an arrow—clicking it didn't work. There was no download option or update listed on the main page. The latest update (17 November) is stuck at 16kb of a 5.3GB file, and when I opened the game icon it said the game was offline.
Are there problems with installing additional games or is it specifically for Forza?
I’m not familiar with Windows 11, but the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 can be frustrating. I had to restart it several times before a download would complete, but it ran smoothly on another machine even before the official launch. Have you attempted a reset?
FH5 has been stable enough for me, knowing Windows Store issues can be tough to resolve. I faced problems with Microsoft Flight Simulator not updating on my old rig, so I had to uninstall it.
