I was wondering if anyone knows what the issue I may be having. I can't seem to pinpoint why warzone itself is having issues for my system when every other game i'm able to play above 180 FPS on max or almost max setting on 1440p. TLDR of parts: (Full list below) CPU: 5900X RAM: 2x16GB 3600MHz CL16 GPU: RTX 3080 PSU: 750W / 1000W (tried both) Monitor: 240Hz 1440p Things to note/tried: - I have latest BIOS, chipset, & GPU drivers as on June 16, 2021 - PBO enabled - XMP enabled - PCIE x16 lane is set to GEN4 - GPU is on stock EVGA settings - Have tried with a 1000W PSU with no difference - Have repasted and reseated my CPU cooler - Have tried a Noctua NHD15 - I have reformatted Win10 & reinstalled drivers My issues: - I remember getting 150-180 fps on MAX 1440p settings during my first two months with both components back in Nov-Dec 2020. - Now I can barely get 100-120fps and medium settings at 1440p and I have to restart my game at least every other game or every game of warzone because my frames will dip below 80 fps. - I have tried ctrl+windows+shift+B which helps a little, but does not get me back to 120fps. - When DLSS was released to Warzone, I was getting 150-180 fps on quality settings, but turned it off due to optic issues found my JGOD, now the new DLSS fix gets me 110-150 fps, which I find very strange - I also have stuttering issues & packet loss (which I think is tied to me playing on wifi which I cant get around), the stuttering here n there, idk why it happens still Any help would be extremely appreciated. Here is my build below PCPartPicker Part List CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 3.7 GHz 12-Core Processor CPU Cooler: Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix X570-I Gaming Mini ITX AM4 Motherboard Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR4-3600 CL16 Memory Storage: Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Storage: Seagate IronWolf NAS 6 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Video Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB XC3 BLACK GAMING Video Card Case: Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini ATX Mid Tower Case Power Supply: Corsair SF 750 W 80+ Platinum Certified Fully Modular SFX Power Supply Monitor: Samsung Odyssey G7 LC32G75TQSNXZA 31.5" 2560x1440 240 Hz Monitor Custom: Lian Li O11D Mini 1X PCI-E 16 X4.0 Riser

I've only slightly played Warzone yet: Do you offer streaming textures? I turned it on because I'm using a direct Ethernet connection straight from my router with a strong download speed. If you're on Wi-Fi, make sure it's off. Performance isn't measurable since I'm running at higher resolutions and using balanced DLSS (I think I'll restart tonight). At 4K with the 6950X and 2060 Super, I'm getting around 60fps.

Use your RGB tool like Icue or nzxt cam, switch it off, and see how the game performs. I tested it yesterday and Warzone ran much smoother than before.

Did you enable the RTX? Dips needing a restart seem to indicate a real issue somewhere. I’ll reset all settings and reload shaders; otherwise, I’d consider reinstalling the game since only Warzone seems affected. Just checked—my 3090 at 1440p maxed out, with RTX/DLSS off I get 160–200 FPS in Nuketown, averaging around 175–185 FPS when I look.

I understand you're using the ASUS Armory Crate and Corsair iCUE setup, but your experience with other configurations didn't change much. Thanks for sharing—hope it meets your needs!

I haven't used an RTX graphics card. I've experimented with adjusting other options while using DLSS enabled or disabled. The highest performance I achieved was about 180fps with all settings turned off, whereas others are reporting 200+ at 1440p with those specific numbers online. This problem seems limited to Modern Warfare and Warzone only; Cold War works fine.

Packet losses might actually come from the server and aren't related to your equipment or internet provider. The most intriguing aspect is the sudden FPS drops reported by users with the newest hardware within days. It wouldn't be surprising if it turns out the game secretly mines cryptocurrency when it spots an RTX or RX graphics card.
