Hello, I just set up PiHole on my Raspberry PI but it isn't performing well. All the devices I'm using are connected directly to PiHole. It functions perfectly in Firefox, but when I switch to Vivaldi, Opera, or Chrome, the ad filtering is much weaker compared to Firefox. The same issue appears on my phone with Chrome. Let's consider YouTube as an example. Filtering ads on a PC with just a browser works best with Firefox. The mobile app also suffers from this problem. PiHole doesn't work at all in those cases. Can anyone assist me? And just before you asked, I installed the software exactly as Linus did in his tutorial. PiHole is the only DNS I configured for my devices. Vivaldi has a setting linked to Google's DNS service, which I turned off.
