I've experimented with various solutions to resolve this problem. Reinstalling Windows helped temporarily, but I kept the system unoverclocked. Running OBS in safe mode, using the newest updates, removing two RAM sticks, activating XMP settings, and deleting storage areas OBS records all the time. The PC would freeze occasionally—about 60% of the time—and sometimes it crashes completely. I usually encounter a clock watchdog timeout error. Windows can't complete the report before freezing, so I had to press the restart button manually to bring it back. This issue doesn't occur with my other hardware; I can play demanding games without problems, which makes this situation puzzling. The specs are: CPU i9-12900k at 3.2GHz, a 16-core motherboard (MSI PRO Z690-A ATX), Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM (5600MHz, 64GB and 32GB), and an MSI GeForce RTX 3060. GPU is also MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus. OS runs Windows 10 Pro.

These situations can cause crashes too. It depends on the specific forks and how they handle encoding tasks.

I haven't tried Streamlabs yet, but I can check for problems. I've worked with high resolution and bitrate in Premiere Pro without issues. The encoder I used was H.264, while OBS uses NVIDIA NVENC H.264. It seems like the GPU acceleration is likely helping, though I'm not sure. My concern is that if OBS stays open without streaming or recording, my PC might crash, especially in safe mode.
