I recently changed from an Intel chip to AMD together with a new motherboard. However, after switching, I’ve faced problems when launching many games that worked well on my previous system. Most non-memory-heavy titles run smoothly, but games like The Witcher 3 or Assassin's Creed: Odyssey often freeze during save/load or after a while, especially when using the pause menu or inventory. I tried reinstalling all relevant drivers—CPU, GPU, and extra motherboard utilities—but the issue remains. I also attempted to reset Windows via the settings option, but it didn’t help. Currently, I’m doing clean installs of the problematic games. Could you suggest any possible causes for this issue? Here are my details: AMD Ryzen 3600x at 4.2GHz with stock cooler (Wraith spire), Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti (11GB VRAM), ASRock Phantom 4 Gaming board, 4x4GB DDR4 RAM at 2133MHz, Samsung Evo 860 500GB SSD, Seagate Firecuda 1TB Hybrid, Corsair CX600 power supply. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I would have recommended starting with a full reset and installing new files. This approach is usually advised for such systems.
