I have an AMD RX 580 XFX GTS XXX Edition with only the drivers installed (no wattman) and MSI Afterburner. My stable overclock is at 2250MHz, but when trying to increase core clocks it doesn’t seem to work. When I set it to 1430MHz during Heaven Benchmark, I got around 1200MHz, though the 1430MHz setting only worked briefly while closing the app. My custom fan curve shows a max of 64°C after 15 minutes. Is there any missing setting in Afterburner or is this another problem?

The voltage being applied at your 1430MHz setting under load is what monitoring software such as GPUz indicates.
