I own an FX8350, an ASUS M5A99FX Pro R2.0, and a Corsair H110. My CPU temperatures are idle at 29°C and running at 50% load, but the socket temperature is 68°C. If it gets to 72°C, the system will freeze. I cleaned the case nzxt s340, replaced the CPU heat-sink with acrylic silver, and it dropped by no more than 1 degree. Any advice? Should I consider adding extra fans? PS: I even kept the CPU clock at 68°C.
