Hi, I own four units of 8GB DDR4 Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB with 3200MHz and RGB lighting. After several hours of adjustment and testing, I managed to boost the speed to around 3400MHz with stable performance. Latency dropped from around 72-74ns to 69-71ns after overclocking. I found the BIOS settings helpful, especially enabling XMP, but I disabled the vcore option. The DRAM voltage stayed at 1.4V and I couldn't lower TRCD or TRP below 19 regardless of changes. Also, reaching 3466MHz wasn't possible on 1.2V SOC V or 1.5V DRAM. I've tried adjusting the SoC Voltage settings (LLC Medium, High, Turbo) but nothing seems to help. I kept other BIOS parameters at their defaults to rule out conflicts. Any adjustments you recommend? My motherboard is an Aorus Elite X570 and the CPU is a 5600X. It seems you're referring to a specific variant of B die with expected performance. The outcomes match what you'd expect from those chips, though they aren't outstanding. For your setup, maintaining a 3200mhz RAM speed and fine-tuning the timings would be ideal. You could also manually adjust the IF overclocking for better results.
attempted, can't drop below CL16 under any circumstances. even a tiny change in other settings triggers a crash. no surprise they charge 100USD for just one unit. they’re terrible.
Usually this has been the case. Corsair memory has deteriorated from solid performance to completely unreliable plastic. It’s surprising if you’re fortunate enough to own a Samsung Bide, since Corsair works with many DRAM suppliers.
It's not B-die. They'd be CL14 and probably a group of Dominators.
