ALWAYS a risk, even if you buy the exact same memory, sometimes adding more ram simply causes issues. The Sticks can be different. It's not fun but the manufacturers simply don't care I would try to return the ram and try another kit!

I don't believe it's the new RAM, since I've only used them in slots 1 and 3 and they functioned. Even the older ones in slots 1 and 2 didn't boot. It looks like my motherboard doesn't support adding RAM on the same channel.

Is the latest BIOS installed? Ryzen is still... not fully developed. It's significantly improved compared to its initial release. However, BIOS upgrades make a big difference for Ryzen, so be sure to update and let us know what you think.

It seems the setup isn't compatible with any stick combinations or channel configurations. You might want to reposition the CPU first. If that fails, check the CPU's IMC or the motherboard's condition.
