Hello everyone, I've faced internet issues with my PC since it was assembled. My setup includes: APU – Ryzen 3 2200G, Graphics – Vega 8, RAM – 8GB at 3000Mhz, Motherboard – Gigabyte B450M S2H, Network – ASUS PCI-AC5, speeds around 20 Mbps. I've reinstalled Windows and drivers multiple times but the problem remains. I've moved the machine to different rooms without improvement. The built-in QOS works only slightly, giving full signal strength and stable connection. Ethernet isn't an option because of powerline limitations and distance from the access point or router. Anyone have suggestions?

How much distance separates you from your router, considering the thick walls. Are there any files being downloaded from behind you?

I use 2.4GHz or 5GHz depending on the network requirements.

There are roughly three solid layers in between me and my access point, yet the issue continues even after shifting closer to the router.

the asus network card i'm using includes an automatic dual-band feature, though it often operates at a preferred 2.4 ghz instead.
