I began assembling my PC and everything functioned correctly—Windows 10 installed, home screen accessible. However, an error appeared about my RAM not being in the optimized area. My AMD stock CPU cooler obstructed the RAM in slot 1, which was supposed to be in slot 2 or 4. Following the error guidance, I removed the CPU fan to free up space. After reassembly and reinstalling the back panel (which I had removed because the CPU fan plate came off), my MSI motherboard’s EZ debugger displayed issues with both CPU and DRAM. I double-checked that all RAM was properly seated. Could anyone suggest why this problem might occur?

Did you verify all connections were removed before changing the RAM slot?

The power cord remained connected and most devices stayed on. Was simply shutting down the device sufficient?
