I understand most of you are using Windows, but I’m facing a somewhat unusual issue. As shown in the attached photo, my typical idle temperature on Mac OS is around 39-40°C, whereas when I boot into Windows with Bootcamp, it jumps to about 67°C. The fans are running at full speed. Thermal throttling occurs immediately after any activity, reaching 97°C. I suspected a thermal paste problem, so I disassembled the system—not something for the faint of heart. After reapplying Noctua thermal paste to both the GPU and CPU, the issue persists. I also cleared out all the dust. ETC.

Focus on peak temperatures during continuous use. This is the most critical factor, as prolonged heat exposure can cause serious issues.

Apple adjusts their CPU speeds in Mac OS when usage is low and reduces voltage in Mac OS. On Windows, these actions don’t occur automatically; you need to do it manually.

I understand what you did—I used endurance testing on Mac OS to reach a load temperature of 87, and on Windows I achieved 95 to hit 97 or 98 as the system throttled.

You’d explore compatible software for Windows, adjusting voltage settings as needed. Be aware the device becomes excessively warm, making it uncomfortable to sit on and increasing the risk of burns when pressing keys.

Extreme tech and well, Google is your go-to resource for Mac issues. Combined with trial and error, it often helps. Every chip behaves differently, but certain configurations tend to work. I’m not very skilled yet, so I usually search for CPU overclocking settings and pick the most popular option.
