Hello! It seems you're experiencing some performance issues with your WowConnections setup. Despite the boosts from your 1050 Ti, you're only seeing slight improvements. Your system includes an I7-4790K overclocked to 5GHz, 16GB RAM, and an SSD with a Windows 10 Pro 64-bit OS. CPU usage is around 50%, GPU about 35%. It might be that WowConnections is limited by your PC's power capacity. The Nvidia settings appear normal, and your CPU usage isn't exceeding 60% across threads. The SSD setup seems fine, but you mentioned it's running on a dual 4GB RAM and two 2TB HDDs. If you need further help, feel free to share more details!

MMORPGs demand significant CPU power. WoW's visuals are much lighter than today's titles. Nonetheless, you'll likely notice a performance boost. How much did it actually improve?

The performance boost for wow was around 20 to 30%, not much higher. It’s confusing why both GPU and CPU usage stay under 50% even at about 65 frames per second. Shouldn’t they reach near 100% to clearly show the bottleneck?

I've experimented with several approaches, but nothing changed my FPS in WoW or LoL. I switched to a stable environment in WoW and removed the two important memory sticks. I tested the CPU at 4GHz base with boost and 4.5GHz base with boost, keeping the same FPS. Since MMOs are CPU-intensive, I wondered if overclocking didn't help despite CPU limitations. Could it be related to cache performance? Are there other settings I should adjust? I still feel like I could improve performance for smoother gameplay during intense raids. Thanks!

I can perform typical benchmark tests such as Heaven or other titles to see how it stacks up. Running base settings but keeping boost enabled helps, as we usually rely on boost during gameplay. HT is off—probably because of the engine limitations, though someone might disagree. It seems WoW’s performance is heavily tied to its base hardware, and even at higher speeds like 5GHz, the cache usage is significant, which affects gaming experience (e.g., 5800x3d).
