Afternoon friends, reaching from Australia. I checked the forums and online resources but didn’t find anything matching my problem. If anyone has the right thread, please point me there. Recently, I’ve encountered glitches when using the Windows settings app on Windows 10 Pro. After some time, the computer freezes and a highlighted menu appears on the left side. I’ll share screenshots if it happens again. So far, restarting seems to fix it temporarily, but the issue keeps coming back. I tried CCleaner and even reset the settings app to clear everything, but it persists. Do you think I should upgrade to a new Windows version or perform a full reinstall? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

A Windows reset differs significantly from a clean installation; it doesn’t achieve the results people expect. In fact, it can sometimes cause more problems than it solves. Consider performing a clean install instead.

Created the image capture. It might be a simple issue to resolve.

You're seeing a highlighted section, but it seems like nothing is changing or responding. Try interacting differently or check the settings.
