Yesterday I powered on my PC and it functioned properly at first. But after a short while the display went dark and the system restarted by itself. This occurred multiple times within an hour. During these interruptions the computer slowed down noticeably, and even media like YouTube would stutter. After the fourth restart I decided to power it off and restart later. Luckily, when I tried again that evening the rebooting problem didn’t return, and everything worked normally. Still, I observed a major drop in performance, especially during games. For example, in Elden Ring the frame rate dropped from 60 FPS to below 40, and this issue appeared in other tough games such as Resident Evil 4 and God of War.

I began using MSI Afterburner while playing to monitor my system. The GPU temperature stayed between 60-65°C during demanding games, while the CPU was around 70-80°C. RAM usage changed depending on the game but generally stayed between 10-14 GB. I attempted driver updates, Windows updates, and checked that my settings hadn’t been reset, among other troubleshooting steps, but nothing resolved the problem.

Here are my specifications:
GPU: RTX 3050
CPU: i3-9100F
RAM: 2x8GB at 2400 MHz
Power Supply: XPG Core Reactor 650W Gold
Motherboard: Gigabyte H310M S2H
Operating System: Windows 11

PSU: XPG Core Reactor 650W Gold
What is its age?
You may wish to obtain a well-built unit with 650W capacity for the whole system and check if the problem continues.

I purchased it about four years ago without any problems. Do you believe the PSU is the probable cause? It might be tough to find a trustworthy replacement, but I could ask others for advice.
