It seems the issue might be related to driver compatibility or network settings. The discrepancy between the reported 2.5Gbps and the 1Gbps listed in your drivers could indicate a mismatch. Check your Ethernet adapter settings, ensure drivers are up to date, and verify cable connections. If the problem persists, try switching to a different port or contacting your network administrator.

What length of Ethernet cable are you employing? How secure is the connection within the cable? Have you experimented with a different Ethernet cable, maybe a more recent one?

I've also tested a different Ethernet cable, but the issue persists.

Please confirm the connection details: the device port speed and the Ethernet cable type you're using.

I'm working with a Cat 5 cable that delivers 2.5 Gbps over a distance of 2-3 meters, but it's being affected by something similar to a power line.

The problem probably lies with the cable type. Performance on Powerline changes based on cable quality, not just port speed. Which brand and model do you have?
