Issue with website on MacOS occurs occasionally.
Hey there, I'm trying to access openlearning.com but it doesn't load in Safari or Chrome on my MacBook with MacOS Sierra. I tried using VMWare Fusion with Windows 10, and it works fine there, so what's happening? Is there an OS-level setting that needs resetting? How is VMWare managing to get past this issue? Thanks for your help! Best, YoshiHDify
Other sites also function on the Mac. You're correct about Linux working for you; testing on a Mac would confirm compatibility. Possible adjustments might include proxy servers or DNS settings.
Yeah it's very weird, I checked the proxies and nothing's been set. There are 2 DNS IP addresses but I think they're default, it's funny because if it was OS level, wouldn't it affect the virtual machine too. Unless I'm just unlucky that Safari and Chromium aren't working on Internet Explorer is HAHA!!
Use Google's DNS 8.8.8.8 or openDNS 208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
