Issue with Warzone terrain textures following the S3 update.
Issue with Warzone terrain textures following the S3 update.
After the Warzone Season 3 update, I've encountered some strange texture problems with the terrain. When examining the ground, sections turn black and the texture itself appears distorted. This seems to occur mainly with grass or dirt areas. On roads and indoors it works normally, which is unusual since it's specific to these types of terrain. It doesn't happen all the time but often depends on how you view the ground and the amount visible. I've reinstalled the driver, reset the game, cleared cache and temporary files, adjusted shaders, and tried different graphics settings and NVIDIA options. Still unsure what's causing the issue.
Is this in-game graphics setting activated or disabled? Specifically, is the "On-Demand Texture Streaming" option enabled? Essentially, this feature lets you load higher resolution textures into Warzone to enhance visual quality. It increases texture depth and makes colors more vibrant during gameplay. Occasionally it may lead to black texture issues. If you haven’t tried it yet, consider checking if your GPU drivers are up to date. In short, enabling this setting allows the game to download high-quality textures locally, improving overall visuals.
I was experiencing this problem today as well (since szn 3 when they change all your graphics settings). I believe the issue might be linked to "Ambient Occlusion" being set to "Both". If that doesn't resolve it, try adjusting your "Quality Presets" to something like "Ultra". Be aware that doing this will revert all your graphics settings, so consider it only if the Ambient Occlusion setting isn't helping.
