In short, the problem started roughly 17 hours after season 3 of Warzone was launched. At first everything worked smoothly—normal FPS, consistent graphics settings. After logging out and back in, performance plummeted sharply, dropping to just 0–5 FPS in some areas, and the game would even freeze. I checked MSI Afterburner and in-game stats, spotting abnormal CPU/GPU usage and high CPU load (around 90%+). Despite trying various fixes—reinstalling the game, adjusting graphics, checking drivers, cleaning components—I still faced the same issue across all games. The problem persisted regardless of the game in play. I reached out to online communities for help.

What are you doing purchasing a preBUI...? (looks at Dell Precision T7610 beside me) Forget it, welcome to the forums. You'll enjoy it here, we're nice folks. Now let's get back to business—how are your CPU and GPU performing when idle and under load? CPUTemp and GPUTemp are handy small tools that can assist with this. Does this problem happen only in online games? Have you tried something like Heaven Benchmark to check the results?

Single stick of ram. Get a 2x 8 kit and fully replace the new kit. Though its a Dell which my mean you need to spend like 200$ a stick....

Did you turn off the computer and then restart it using the reset option in Windows? Restarting isn't the same as before.

If you require additional memory, purchase an aftermarket 8GB stick that matches the same specifications and timings, using standard DDR4 RAM without special heatsinks. Recent Windows updates have disrupted many gamers, so consider updating or reinstalling. Have you used Dell’s “Check Me, Help Me” tool yet?

Dells usually accepts only Dell RAM. Even two sticks with identical frequency and timing might fail to work together. This isn't about extra capacity—two 4GB modules won't change that. It's all about the dual-channel configuration.

I handled it using my Dell. I thoroughly reviewed what I already had and selected a match from another vendor. They weren't exactly the same, but it functioned perfectly.
