It’s hard to believe this would be an issue, since the first screenshot clearly indicates it was utilizing the CPU and running smoothly until it stopped. Once the CPU usage ceased, performance dropped drastically without any adjustment options that delay rendering past a certain threshold.
Earlier I mentioned that the Magix AVC/AAC decoder is known for being slow and problematic. Consider using an encoder from another manufacturer. Also, you might want to switch to Mainconcept AVC encoding instead of AMD VCE encoding.
The issue isn't speed itself but a drop in compute power. Hardware efficiency is dropping, making it feel sluggish even though performance remains acceptable at the start. The recommended encoder depends on your current needs, but you should test it once you're home to compare results.
