Issue with USB-C to miniDP and USB3.0 adapter performance
Hi everyone, welcome! I'm just starting out on this forum. I purchased a new laptop two weeks ago – an MSI GS43VR 7RE with a USB-C 3.1/Thunderbolt 3 port. I also bought a compatible dongle here: https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B06XD7D...UTF8&psc=1. On Windows, nothing seems to work at 3.0 speed on the 3.0 port of the adapter. Linux works perfectly – I get around 120MB/s when copying files to an external drive. The USB 3.0 external drive and AC Wi-Fi adapter function fine. I've tried updating all drivers, even with the Intel update option in the browser, but everything still seems up to date. Thanks for your help!
