The USB must use FAT32 format and it’s best to wipe the drive before use. The version info on ASUS’s site might be missing because the specific model isn’t listed there. You’re seeing ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING BIOS 5404, which is available on their site.

I've utilized the identical USB during my BIOS update on my ROG STRIX B550 f motherboard, and it functioned correctly where required. I formatted the drive and transferred the new BIOS from its initial download location to the target drive. The B550 f includes a specific BIOS USB port if that matters. The file system type didn't affect the process on the B550, whereas on the B450 only exfat and another non-FAT32 format appeared in the dropdown. Exfat failed to show in the BIOS despite being used, possibly because the 64GB drive exceeded the 32GB limit. Version 4901 isn't present yet—I'll refine the wording. Thank you.
