Hi everyone.
I’m experiencing some unusual performance problems.
After a while, the system starts to slow down significantly—everything becomes sluggish and unresponsive. Pages load extremely slowly, games become blurry, and even simple keystrokes fail to register properly. It feels like I’m only seeing events that happened just half a second ago.

This kind of issue tends to appear faster when the PC is under heavy use, such as during gameplay, benchmark tests, or stability checks. A simple restart or shutdown doesn’t resolve it; instead, the system just restarts in that slow state. The only short-term solution I’ve tried is powering off the entire machine and pressing the power button for a few seconds, after which things return to normal for a while before the problem returns.

My PC remains stable under maximum load, with temperatures staying well below critical levels (CPU and GPU at 75°C even at full capacity). The problem occurs regardless of whether I’m using the standard settings or overclocked configurations. It works with both vanilla and optimized versions of Windows 10/11, and it’s unaffected by the drivers installed.

I’ve tried everything I could think of, but I’m wondering if someone might have a better idea to address this.
Here are my current specs:
- Ryzen 5900X
- RTX 3080
- ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING (WI-FI)
- G.Skill TridentZ 4000
- Corsair SF750 PLATINUM
- Pair of Samsung 970 EVO M2
- Running at 3600 MHz (1:1:1)

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! It doesn't matter if it's vanilla or optimized Win 10/11 versions or which drivers are installed. Are you using Windows 10 or 11? Did you carry out a fresh installation of Windows 11? If so, where did you obtain the installer for that operating system?

Is the problem still present once the system begins operating?

I am on Windows 10, version 22H2, with the build number 19045.3570. I have performed a clean installation of every previous version using the official tool and a USB drive. The BIOS is currently at version 3002 (as of 2023/03/14), and I have not succeeded with any older versions. The Corsair SF750 PLATINUM is approximately one year old, just like other components.

Is the problem still present once the system begins operating?
It seems to be running a bit more slowly now.

Have you experimented with setting the RAM to standard speeds like 2133 or 2400 to assess its stability?

I conducted most of the testing using the default bios configurations. Even with stock speeds at 2133, I made small changes to voltages and/or timing parameters but didn’t achieve any results.
