Hi all,
I purchased Harbinger (2003) from the gamerstate website. The installation went through and the game starts without crashes, which is a positive beginning. However, I encountered problems with pre-rendered objects that prevent the game from functioning properly. Initially, I assumed the issue was limited to the menu, but the actual in-game display looks different.

I explored various forums, attempted standard troubleshooting (running as admin, changing compatibility mode, turning off screen effects), and even tried using a third-party windower program to check if the resolution settings were affecting the display—since most older games run at 800x600 or 1024x780.

I also installed an older DirectX version and adjusted the DirectPlay feature (turning it off or on) to see if that resolved the problem. My laptop uses an Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics card.

Finally, I updated the driver, but no improvements were noticed.

Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve similar issues?
Thanks in advance for your help.
