One of the pins is bent and might be fixed by bending it back using a pocket knife or a tooth pick. I’d remove the card from the case to access the header more easily. It’s possible, though there’s a good likelihood the RGB cable won’t work with them. I’d advise against starting your first soldering project on such a costly part.
Ensure the right pin remains unpopulated. Remember, if a ready-made cable with the JST connector isn’t available, you’ll need to make your own by crimping—this can be quite challenging.

I had a thought I wanted to check with you. I was considering placing an order and then using the pin set from that to practice desoldering on a budget RGB controller before moving to a more expensive GPU.
