It's the unit with the two mini-SAS connections (Amazon link). The timing was quick. The disk is already set up. Using fdisk -l won't display it, so I can't reinitialize it until I connect it to a different slot.
Which cable did you purchase? This one tends to be sensitive. Also, this card is fairly outdated, so you'll need to switch your BIOS from UEFI to legacy mode. Since the controller on this board is essentially an early SATA III controller (I believe it also has limited backup drive sizes)
