Issue with the computer shutting down during use
Hi guys,
A few days back, my PC would shut down unexpectedly while I was playing some low-level games like Age of Empires II DE. To get it back on, I had to turn off the PSU, wait a bit, then turn it back on. If I didn’t do that or didn’t wait a few seconds, it wouldn’t start at all. Once I did, it worked properly again.
I ran an OCCT "Power" and "CPU" test, and both completed successfully for about an hour. Then I tried a combined CPU, RAM, and VRAM test, but the PC turned off after around 45 minutes. Temperatures were normal during testing—CPU at 55°C, GPU at 65°C—and even lower while playing.
My system specs are:
- CPU: Ryzen 5600 with Cryorig H7 cooler
- GPU: Red Devil 6700XT
- Motherboard: MSI B550 A-Pro
- PSU: Cooler Master MWE Gold V2 650W
- RAM: Kingston Fury Beast 2x16 GB
- SSD: Crucial T500 1 GB
