Issue with system settings
I repeatedly attempt to adjust BIOS settings but the system fails to restart. Despite hearing fans spin, there’s no display, keyboard or mouse lights. My HDD had Windows OS, I swapped it for an SSD, reinstalled the OS, and cleared everything from the old drive. Now, changing BIOS settings doesn’t bring the PC back online. Should I remove the HDD and reformat the SSD before trying again?
Bios and adjustment options aren't related to having an operating system installed. If your BIOS settings aren't being saved, consider replacing the CMOS battery or updating the BIOS.
