In BF1 my CPU usage spikes even with a powerful machine. I suspect a virus or malware is present. There’s an option to reset the PC and wipe everything, but I’m worried it might remove even system files like Windows itself. I’ve tried Windows Defender, but it doesn’t seem very effective. Could you assist? Here are my specs for reference.

Perform the reset feature to maintain the PC running. Test with downloaded malware samples to check detection capabilities. Alternatively, employ your antivirus software for a full scan.

Don't need to purchase it once more. Just set it up and use the key you already own.

Identify what's consuming your CPU power first. Consider using tools like Malwarebytes and Kaspersky to uncover the issue.

Battlefield is experiencing some performance problems that are increasing CPU load. A fix from DICE might be needed soon.

It seems the game might struggle with performance, especially on lower-end systems. If it’s genuinely demanding CPU resources, optimizing settings or upgrading hardware could help.

Does that function as intended? I believed after redeeming a key, it would no longer be usable.

It can be used on the same motherboard. If necessary, reach out to Microsoft.

You can utilize it without any CPU restrictions as many times as you desire.
