Issue with streaming video on PC unresolved. Unclear next steps.
This issue began 24 hours ago. Videos stopped working on my PC suddenly. I can click a video on YouTube, but it just hangs at the beginning and never starts. All other functions work fine (apps like Discord/Steam and web browsing are unaffected).
I've tested playing videos in Firefox, Chrome, Opera, OperaGX, Edge... nothing helped. I also tried Youtube, Hulu, Twitch, and Reddit. Streaming audio didn't work either. I found a few videos on Reddit posts that actually played after browsing many random videos while troubleshooting. I don't know why these exceptions worked.
I've tried rebooting, unplugging my modem and router, and changing DNS servers. Still nothing.
None of my other devices are affected—this only happens on my PC. Any suggestions to help me fix this would be really appreciated.
