Hey, I see the issue. Your PC and games are experiencing crashes when launching them from Steam. So far, only two titles have been affected—one worked fine on another store. I’ve run a disk check with cmd, updated everything, and even reinstalled Steam, but the problem persists. The affected game is Team Fortress 2.

More info please. PC specs, as well as what games it does crash and what games it doesnt. (PC specs includes precise info about CPU, motherboard, RAM, GPU and also very important the PSU. brand and model) You say you have scanned PC, but have you also let your game files be scanned to make sure theres nothing missing? Does this mean you have the latest graphics card drivers?

I use an i7-13700K with ASUS TUF Z790 PLUS Wi-Fi, 64GB Corsair vengeance 6000MHz RAM, 4070TI, and the MSI MPG A1000G power supply. I’ve also scanned and confirmed my game files.

Understanding the intense heat... Comparing your home temperature to a nearby store is important. If your house reaches around 80°F or 90°F while the store stays at 70°F, that small difference could lead to noticeable thermal problems.

When I mention games store, I’m referring to platforms like Steam and Epic Games Store, not a physical location. It has been functioning well since I set it up in September of last year, with my issue only appearing this month. My home temperature has been around 64°F, while my thermals stay near 60°C, so I don’t believe the heat is the cause.

I noticed you're concerned about the heatwave and your PC's condition. Dust buildup can affect cooling, so cleaning might help. You might also want to run the system file checker for updates.

It's not overly dusty. I replace the filters each week and the interior looks fine. I ran the sfc/scannow command, and it only detected a corrupt Bluetooth driver.

Next I would examine your drive health, including chkdsk and trim. As others mentioned, verify driver and Windows updates. Also look for BIOS updates for your motherboard. The stability problems were severe, and it turned out the issue was a faulty BIOS.

The issue might be related to the RAM. I used 32GB until June 6th, then increased it to 64GB. The problems began about a month after that. Everything is now up to date, but I'm still not fully confident.
